Pierce Veterinary Technician Program

Pierce College’s Veterinary Technology program has been accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association and Washington State Veterinary Medical Association. A graduate from this program will successfully be able to complete the National and State Board examinations to become a licensed veterinary technician in the Washington State.
Only 40 students are admitted each year to this competitive program. If you want to get admission then you will need to fulfill certain pre-requisites like College level — Biology, Chemistry, Intermediate Algebra, English, Medical Terminology, Veterinary hospital experience (minimum 20 hours), Recommendation/Reference Form, HOBET Test, 2.0 GPA is required in each class etc.
